A new initiative for Grazing Incidence standardisation was started with a survey at SXNS17. The first online meeting of the "Grazing Ray Initiative" was held on October 21st 2024.

The working group was formed at canSAS-VIII in Japan. At canSAS-XI in Freising it was agreed that we would liaise with the reflectometry community, who are having a meeting in October 2019. Tim Snow is organising that meeting and Adrian Rennie and Andrew Jackson are likely to be attending. Sebastian Jaksch is interested in doing some work on GISANS standards.
